Has Been A While

Good grief. It is almost, actually, it is the end of February and I’ve not posted in a month. Life and work has had me rather buried the last month or so but I think I can start to see some light right now. Tomorrow is the start of Lent in the Christian church. Our church isn’t giving something up for Lent, we’re taking something on — the reading of and discussion of Rick Warren’s “A Purpose Driven Life”. Fourty chapters and 40 days has lent so we just may complete the book.
A lot of other stuff is going on in the world around me, maybe now I can find some time to put fingers to the keyboard to share some thoughts. I’m working on two other blogs which I want to get released before long. I’m halfway through my stint as acting President of the local Legion branch. Someone asked me in a comment about what my connection is to the Legion, it’s on my list to write a post about that.
Anyways, just taking a few to let you all know, I’m still around. Just like a weed, I keep popping up.
