Once again yesterday, the defense at Pickton’s trial continued to parse and dissect the 11 hours of police interviews with Pickton. It appears if there is any point to Peter Ritchie’s (defense lawyer) minute questioning that it is likely that he’s trying to present a picture of an intellectually slow defendant being taken advantage of by the RCMP.

From the reports of the video of the interviews, Pickton might not be the brightest bulb in the bundle but he’s far from short circuited. You don’t need much intellect to figure out that it is wrong to pick up women and murder them.Â
