Say What? Easing Restrictions on a Pedophile?
The Globe & Mail today reports that the National Parole Board responded to Shaun Deacon’s violations of the restrictions placed on him by loosening the restrictions. SAY WHAT!!?
This person is one of the more notorious pedophiles in Canada. He has a long string of convictions which include a seven year sentence during the 80′s for assaulting a five year old girl and three boys, ages 6, 8 & 13. While awaiting sentencing (not trial) for those charges he abducted and assaulted one of the victims again.

MLA says pedophile should be designated sexual offender

Shaun Deacon, a convicted pedophile with a long history of abusing children, should be designated a dangerous offender, NDP Public Safety critic Mike Farnworth said today.
Deacon, one of Canada’s most notorious child molesters, was recently found to have an image of a young child on his personal computer – a violation of his parole conditions.
“Shaun Deacon has violated the terms of his parole countless times and has continued to commit crimes against children,†said Farnworth.
“Rather than reward him for these violations, Mr. Deacon should be designated a dangerous offender.â€
A person may be declared a dangerous offender if deemed by a judge to be a high-risk violent offender.
Someone declared a dangerous offender is given an indefinite jail sentence.
Deacon was sentenced in the ‘80s to seven years in prison for assaulting a five-year-old girl and three boys ranging in age from six to 13.
Upon his release in the mid-90s, Deacon was caught molesting an eight-year-old boy in a restaurant bathroom. While on parole for that offence, Deacon lured a 10-year-old boy into his room in a halfway house. He was returned to jail for two years.
In 2001, after his last criminal sentence expired, Deacon was placed under a 10-year supervision order, said Corrections Canada spokesman Dennis Finlay.
